Rehabilitation and return to exercise
Return to doing what you love
It’s time to get back out there and move carefree again.
At Brains & Brawn, we take an individualized approach to each person we assist. We give you the tools and information you need to move better and understand your body.
Movement and breathwork is restorative
We believe movement is only restorative when combined with conscious breathwork practice. Each person at Brains & Brawn spends time learning how to breathe effectively. Many pain syndromes are eliminated once individuals become conscious of their breathing patterns during exercise.
Pain syndromes we’ve helped assist with:
- Parkinson’s
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Fibromyalgia
- Osteoporosis
- Disc bulge
- Spinal stenosis
- Generalized low back pain
- Sciatica
- Stiffness

Strength and conditioning
Strive to be your best
While sometimes thought of as dangerous, lifting weights is one of the safest activities one can do.
Accruing muscle mass has a multitude of benefits ranging from greater bone density to looking better naked! Working to make yourself antifragile via weight training and cardio is a proactive way to take control of your health.
How being out of breath can change posture for the worse
We can survive without food for 3 weeks, water for 3 days, and air for only 4 minutes.
When we exercise, our breathing is tested leading to poor postures in an attempt to get more air. When chronic, these positions become relatively fixed.
In order to alleviate pains from postural adaptations, we all must become conscious of how we breathe and literally learn how to exhale and inhale most effectively.
Posture is complicated: Learn more about how exercise and proper breathing are related.
